The Café is downtown's Louisville best kept secret serving Classic American cuisine with a twist and will make a great gift for your loved ones during the holidays.
Ample portions of fresh, home-cooked food with a Southern accent. That's what The Café has been serving proudly to legions of loyal customers since 1996. Experienced restaurateurs Sal and Cindy Rubino delight in offering one of Louisville's most rewarding, affordable lunchtime dining experiences. Sal can often be found "out front" greeting guests, while Cindy has drawn on her decades of diverse cooking experience to develop the Café's unique menu <

Most of our loyal customers came to know us when we were on the second floor of the Louisville Antique Mall on Goss Avenue for more than a decade. But in late October 2007, we moved to our own space just around the corner.
The Café's inviting old-meets-updated setting is a big part of its appeal:
Located in a lovingly restored warehouse on the eastern edge of downtown Louisville, no two of the restaurant's tables or hanging lamps are exactly alike. The Café's lunch customers are an interesting mix of Highlands residents, people on the go, and business people. On Sundays, some families hurry over straight from church so Mom doesn't have to cook - and so kids can enjoy the fun, healthy kids' menu.
